Social Service Activities
“Think in what ways the group can do service in society.”
The Purpose of Social Service
The WTT strongly emphasises upon service activities together with spiritual practice. Spiritual practices devoid of social welfare have no place in society. Service gets you out of your own system into the greater system; it is the bridge to link up to the higher awareness.
The social service activities presented here are compiled from the Annual Report of the WTT; they might be taken as proposals to commit oneself to service.

Help with food and clothing
Members of different groups are committed to giving out food, clothing and household items for the poor, especially supporting families with essential items.
Some members are organising fund-raising activities destined to buy food for dining halls. Some are helping in institutions who offer meals to people without means.

Help with donations
Many groups are giving financial support for charitable purposes such as schools and social institutions or humanitarian activities like barefoot doctors who are teaching people basic knowledge of medicine.
Some support the schools and social help activities of the WTT in India.
Some are collaborating with different organisations, organising fund collections or food donations.
Recording and Transmission
All the teachings are recorded ever since 1983, initially in cassettes and later in CD ROMs. They are preserved in MP3 form and made available online for free. There is a substantial coverage through videos as well. Since 2007, there is an online transmission of the teachings through internet.

Digital Dissemination
To facilitate the circulation of the teachings, the books and other media are made available online for free. The print versions are also partly distributed for free. In some countries members maintain free libraries of spiritual books created by donations of members of the group.
There are also audio libraries with cassettes and CDs of the lectures and seminars of Master EK and Mater KPK.
Websites have been created for the presentation of the teachings and the distributing books. Many videos of the discourses of Master KPK have been uploaded on YouTube.
There are network and communication activities via Facebook, blogs, Twitter as well as via mailing lists.

Publication Group Work
A lot of continuous work is being done in the fields of publication to keep up with the regular activities:
- transcription of lectures
- writing and procuring of articles for the magazines
- translation and proof-reading
- coordination, organisation and quality management
- volunteer training
- design and layout
- marketing and PR
- print and storage, re-issuing of exhausted books
- dispatch and distribution to bookshops, etc.
The publication work finds itself in a deep transformation facing the challenges of the digital word and social networking: Changes in layout programs require acquisition of software and training of collaborators.
There is an upgrading work for digital storage and e-publishing.
